We Don't Need A New Year Or A New Day To Start Over

We Don’t Need A New Year Or A New Day To Start Over

 We need a new mindset.

It’s a new day and here you are waking up pissed off at the world. You start thinking of all the coulda, woulda, shoulda’s of life and bam you literally just dictated how your day was going to be. It doesn’t have to be this way. And, we don’t need a New Year or even a New Day to start over. Our day starts with our mindset. I know this sounds simple. I also know that it is quite the contrary.

I cannot even tell you how many days I have ruined with the mindset that I was giving my day. Waking up with a negative mindset is like trying to swim in the ocean for hours on end without a life preserver. Our mindset is our life preserver and everything we think dictates how our life is going to look. We carry that energy within us. The universe will only give us what we manifest. Manifestations begin with our thoughts and they carry a vibrational frequency into the world. So, if we keep waking up with a negative thought pattern that is exactly what we are going to get.

Maintaining a positive mindset all the time is probably one of the absolute hardest thing to do. It’s sometimes a daily struggle. It does not make you a bad person. It makes you human. Our soul is the spiritual aspect of us. Our soul has traveled earth many times. Our soul knows better than we do as a human being in our spiritual world.

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you feel like you are reasoning with yourself and trying to constantly figure things out? Everything is being questioned in the moment and your thoughts start racing. You are overthinking, we all do it at some point. The trick is to stop. It’s all in the mind. Everything outside of us is a made up story, it’s the illusion we are giving it.

Yesterday at work something had dawned on me. February 3rd will be six months in my new career path. Some of the things that I have felt within these six months were grueling. There were days where I wasn’t sure if I’d last and I am going to be very upfront with why. My fear of failure. I love where I am and had to quickly figure out how to get over this and make it through. Someone told me it’s a mindset. I know all about mindset thinking, honestly I never linked it to my fear of failing. I’ll never forget the days I was given a new task that was completely out of my comfort zone. I went days upon days having mini panic attacks. I allowed myself to get stuck in the past and the only thing I let myself believe was that I was not going to be able to do this. I worked myself up so hard on the fact that I was not going to be able to this that I literally felt my heart racing. I have crystals at my desk, I silently meditated my way through. No one knew. I quickly became an expert at this! Now I smile when I get myself locked up in that place and I thank all of my guides who have been by my side every step of the way.

If I didn’t learn how to change my mindset I am pretty sure I would have failed. I would have walked away and it would have been one of the biggest mistakes of my life. My “Fear” of failure would have dictated my outcome. We truly are what we think we are. We are always the one in control of what our mindset will be on a daily basis. It’s one of the very few things in life we have total control over. You are braver than you think, capable of anything and FEARLESS!

Navigating life as a human in my spiritual world!

Until next time…

Love & Light, Always!

A Small Town Girl (Part 27)

There was something missing in my life. It was that country home living kind of feeling. I missed so many things about my community living back home. I decided to bring a part of it here at the beach. I figured it would liven things up a bit on a different level and bring people […]
