Ships Don’t Sink Because Of The Water Around Them; Ships Sink Because Of The Water In Them
It’s so incredibly easy to let everything that is happening around us affect our energy fields. In turn all it does is weigh us down. Think of our bodies as this ship. Every day we are bombarded with different situations and experiences. Some may build us up as many may bring us down.
Whatever is worrying you right now try to forget about it. Take a deep breath, stay positive and know that things will get better. They always do.
I have a few children in my household going through all different life experiences. As their Momma I naturally just want to take it all away. All of the things that are weighing them down, that is. No Momma ever wants their child to hurt and feel pain. Unfortunately, this is what life is all about and sometimes it’s these life experiences that help our children grow and cope. After all, life isn’t always going to be peachy! Feelings of unhappiness are normal. Although it’s really hard to watch sometimes these things are what builds them up.
I’m a guide for them, always. They know I am always here and they know I am always willing and up for a chat. Sometimes talking is really all they need. And, of course a listening ear. If they want my guidance they know to ask, otherwise I’m really just all ears. I’m here to hold space for them.
It’s really hard sometimes to not let everything around me affect me. Especially since they are my children. It’s the same thing with everyday life, really. It doesn’t matter what it is or who it is as I said yesterday in my blog, to an extent we are all empaths whether we know it or not.
I had to write about this today as a reminder for myself and everyone else. There are things that will happen in our lives that will fill us up. Always think of the ship. We are that ship. It’s important not to let everything around us fill us up too much, unless it’s joyful of course. We are all human living human experiences. There will be times when we are feeling our ship is about to sink.
Our ultimate goal is to feel joy at all times. Staying positive, smiling, laughing and learning to let what doesn’t serve our highest go is key. In that sense we will always feel joy. Learning how to master this aspect of life is a skill. It takes a lot of practice and daily work.
As a Momma of five children I had to learn over the years to stay afloat no matter what. They may be sinking at the moment and I know those moments won’t last. If you are going through something, as many are right now, know that tough times don’t last and try not to let things around you bring you down. In other words; Don’t let what’s happening around you get inside you.
Until next time…
Love & Light, Always!
