In The Midst Of Chaos We Must Choose To See The Light
Life is life. We have our ups, downs, good times and bad. It’s pretty impossible for us to be happy all the time or is it?
I have trained my mind to always see the light. It’s not always easy however, it’s a mindset that we must conquer and the inner work within ourselves will unravel. It’s all part of our journey here as souls living a human experience.
Fake it until you make it. I’m sure you have all heard that expression. It gets a pretty bad rap. I don’t think it is bad at all. It’s one of those terms that sounds a lot worse than it really is. As long as you see the greater perspective of it, it’s actually a pretty amazing phenomenon. Faking it until we make it can be used in many ways, I guess. There have been many times I had to put a brave face on during a fearful situation, a smile when I just wanted to stay glum or even laugh when I wanted to burst into tears. It’s what we sometimes need to do, especially as a Momma.
Let’s pick this a part, shall we? Let’s say you have a lot going on in your life. There’s so much going that your head is literally spinning. You may have even contemplated packing your bags and running away for a few days. I bet there are some days where that thought went through your mind to never return. I’m speaking truth. I am pretty sure we have all been there. Does that mean we are going to do just that? No. We will fake it until we make it. Naturally we are going to keep finding things to keep us stuck if that is where our mindset is headed. Maybe you are not happy with your spouse or your child or work. Maybe it’s all of the above. The truth is we don’t ever need to stay here. It’s a matter of learning how to climb ourselves out of this very temporary dark place.
Life is never going to be perfect all the time. We must always find the goodness in it and remind ourselves of the things we are grateful for. And, that is okay. We find things that do make us happy and we put our best foot forward and we thrive to make it genuine. And, when we are forced to find those things and perhaps share them with others the things that we are struggling with seem to lessen. It’s a perspective and sometimes we need to be distracted. We have to choose our distractions and we must always choose wisely.
Always remember, “This too shall pass”. I promise, it will.
I hope you found something in this writing share that helped you realize there’s a lot to be grateful for. Sometimes we just have to dig a bit deeper and find them.
Until next time…
Love & Light, Always!
