Dandelion Sun

It is officially “DayLight Savings” here in New York. It happens to be my most favorite time of year. The days are longer, the sun is at it’s brightest and you can feel the winter blues rolling right off your shoulders! I was able to get out today on my lunch break. I took a nice walk then found a beautiful sunny spot right underneath the magnificent rays of sun energy seen in the picture of this blog. The energy is absolutely incredible! The natured earthy virgo sun rising that I am, I feel everything. Everything around me and within me.

I am in a weird place in life right now. I miss certain things. I have been in a state of nostalgia lately. Some days the nostalgia gets me so intertwined with where I am in my life now that it makes me feel a certain way. I can’t really explain it. Being a Mom in her mid-forty’s is strange. It wasn’t too long ago I was changing diapers, yet it wasn’t just a couple days ago either. Just less than a year ago my weekends were filled with sports. My weekends are way different. I am no longer watching sports all weekend. Instead, I find myself alone a lot. My children are doing their own thing. Trust me, it’s NOT a bad thing. Another side of me, I LOVE being alone. I love my kids and my husband, and I also REALLY love my alone time. I do miss life as it was not very long ago too. It’s a lot to get used to. There is a lot of change happening. Having five children I spent a very large part of my life caring for babies. I am loving where I am in life right now and I could not be more proud of my children. I helped guide them to be the most amazing human beings they are today. They are all on a great path and living their lives as they want. With that said, I have finally come to the realization that it’s time for me to start living more of mine.

My Dandelion Sun was a reminder for me today to never lose sight of all the beautiful changes going on around me. Everything going on is what I have created and manifested into my reality. It’s like picking up a dandelion when it’s done blooming for you to make a wish upon. It’s a representation of life. We are all on a path and a journey of discovery. During our journey change is always happening. Change is inevitable. It is how we go about it. It is how we accept and adapt to it. Sometimes we must rise up and dig a little deeper with understanding the changes that are happening in our lives. Change is a manifestation of what is to come. Without change we would stay where we are. Dandelions show up to remind us that we have the power to spread our intentions into the universe. Our inner most desires that bring us hope, perseverance and resilience.

Until Next time…

Love & Light, Always!

A New Beginning Requires Confidence And Faith

New Beginnings start with an incredible amount of confidence and an enormous amount of faith. When the opportunity arises to step out of our comfort zone fear sometimes takes over and it’s almost as if we try to talk ourselves out of going for whatever strikes. Opportunities may sometimes be a once in a lifetime […]

Living The Dream

Ever say hello to someone and then proceed with, “How are you”? “Living the dream”, they say! Okay, so seriously….What in the actual fuck does that mean? I smile and wonder what their dreams actually are. The phrase is always said in a sarcastic manner. Are you stuck in a job you do not want […]
