New Beginnings start with an incredible amount of confidence and an enormous amount of faith. When the opportunity arises to step out of our comfort zone fear sometimes takes over and it’s almost as if we try to talk ourselves out of going for whatever strikes. Opportunities may sometimes be a once in a lifetime chance, and if we let something pass us by it may be because it was not meant to be. However, if we let it pass by without giving it a chance we will never know. New beginnings are scary. It’s the unknown that always puts us in a place where we second guess what’s happening and we end up derailing the process. Change is scary and always necessary in order to thrive and move forward. The power lies within us and only us to make the change and face the unknown.

I made the absolute biggest change of my life in August of 2023. I stepped out of my entrepreneurial mindset and took a corporate 9-5 job. I will never forget the things that were going through my mind. I was scared. I was down right filled with fear. There were times leading right up to the day I stepped foot into that building that I was second guessing my choice in being there. The only thing left to do was to let faith take the wheel. My confidence was at a zero. I am in my mid 40’s and the best job I know is being a Momma. Aside from all of my side jobs and changes of entrepreneurial career paths, I never allowed myself to stick with something long enough to thrive. I thrived in many other ways. I learned so much about myself throughout those years. That is something worth it in the end. There were many important skipped steps along the way. I look back now and I realize that it was always my confidence and fear that held me back from literally doing anything I put my mind to. We can all do anything we put our mind to and that may be the hardest part for many of us.

Here I am a year and a half  later and thanking myself for sticking through it all! It’s been a roller coaster ride for sure. The biggest thing that this past year and a half  has taught me is we must remain consistent. Even on the days where we do not want to do it.  Consistency truly is the key factor to building the groundwork for a future in anything. Setting small goals and sticking with them until you see through is also key. I am not sure where I will be in another year or two….or three….What I do know is my path took m eon this journey to explore and become something more than I was.

Journey’s truly are worth a thousand words! They are worth much more than that…I love that saying! I have definitely had many different paths on my journey that I am so grateful for. There were lots of twists, turns and in-betweens. They all led me to exactly where I am today. That’s the thing about life. Once we let go of having to control every aspect of our life that is when magic begins to happen. We realize that all the roads we have traveled were meant to lead us somewhere. It is the unknown that is the scariest of all. Not knowing where we are being led is hard ti understand as a human being. It’s the spiritual part of us that needs to be awakened in order to truly grasp the beautiful phenomenon of life.

Spirituality is never for the weak. There’s usually some kind of darkness that enters our being in order for us to see the light. It is during those times that we need to rip ourselves out of the trenches and allow our perceptions to become different perspectives, in turn we become more soul-like in our human nature. We understand that all of our experiences that we are experiencing as humans are here to help us grow spiritually. After all, we are all spiritual beings having human experiences.
